Before we begin
SEED AI is a responsible AI learning companion and co-designer for exploring design situations through conversation and an evolving design workspace.
SEED AI is currently available as part of ongoing research and development through teaching, workshops and evaluation. Access and features may change as the platform continues to develop. Your experience and feedback are valued and may help inform its future refinement.
Your complete project session, including the context you provide, prompts, selected suggestions, SEED AI responses, workspace updates, editable voice transcripts, interactions, exports and timestamps.
Sessions use randomly generated identifiers rather than accounts. A random browser identifier may connect projects created in the same browser. Please avoid including private, sensitive, confidential or identifying information.
Voice features are optional. Input audio is securely transcribed and discarded; only the editable transcript is retained. Response playback uses an AI-generated voice. Closing the tab ends the active connection. Refreshing the current tab may restore the project, while a later visit begins a new session.
The stored session remains available for evaluation and improvement, and will only be used for formal research where covered by ethics approval and separate participant consent.

About SEED AI
SEED AI Learning Companion & Co-designer supports design inquiry by helping surface relationships, question assumptions, and bring social and ecological considerations into focus as a project develops. Conversation is translated into a 'living synthesis' and evolving design workspace, allowing the emerging scope, tensions, possibilities and potential interventions to become visible.
It is designed to extend human reasoning. Rather than producing finished outcomes, SEED AI introduces productive friction, prompts reflection and supports the designer to determine what matters, what remains unresolved and what to do next.
